The Career Connection is located in the Fox Valley Workforce Development Board office, 1401 McMahon Drive, Neenah, 920-720-0406.

We will continue to serve students - BY APPOINTMENT ONLY - in the lower level of the Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce building, 125 N Superior St. (corner of Washington & Superior Streets, across from the Post Crescent & AT & T Telephone Company).  Students must call 720-0406 to make an appointment, one day in advance.

The Career Connection was founded by the Fox Cities Alliance for Education, a partner with the Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. and Fox Valley Workforce Development Board, Inc.  We help young people learn about career opportunities. Other young adults, parents, teachers and guidance counselors can also tune in to what's happening at our facility.

Our target audience is young people ages 12 to 21, although other people are welcome to use the Career Connection.

Teachers, guidance counselors, youth group leaders, parents and other adults who help guide young people may use the Career Connection.

In addition, anyone exploring career choices and labor market information may find a visit to the Career Connection beneficial.

Mission Statement

It is the mission of the Career Connection to respectfully facilitate the career exploration and development process for youth.

The Career Connection’s operation will be guided by these beliefs:

• Work helps provide meaning, dignity and purpose in life.

• Each individual should have the opportunity to contribute to the greater good of society through employment.

• Every individual should have the opportunity to find an occupation that is personally fulfilling.

• The process of self-discovery and career choice should be as interesting and beneficial as possible.

• Career exploration is an interactive process, involving the student and the Career Connection.
   

  Career Connection Staff Hours 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.  (Monday through Friday) Appointment hours, at the Chamber, subject to staff availability.
